How It All Began?

My journey started when I moved to Cornwall in 2017.  I discovered a colony of  cats in my area struggling to survive. I tried to find help for them but  couldn’t — so I decided to help them myself.

What began as feeding a colony of strays turned into a lifelong mission. Over time, I learned that caring for cat colonies not only saves the cats, but also brings peace to the neighborhoods they live in. Spaying, neutering, feeding, and providing medical care helps keep them healthy, calm, and close to home.

Since then I was able to find forever homes for many of them. And later I opened a sanctuary for those who could not be adopted out. Every cat here has a story, and every act of kindness keeps their story going.

I work with a rescue group, and Mimi has been an incredible support to our team. She’s provided valuable training for our fosters and volunteers, especially when it comes to caring for FIV and FeLV positive cats. Mimi’s deep knowledge has been a game-changer. With her background in biochemistry and lab work focused on FeLV treatments, she helped us develop easy-to-follow protocols that have made a big difference in how we care for these cats. Thank you Mimi!
